Premier Service Medical Aid Society is a leading medical insurance funder providing innovative medical solutions to individuals, families and businesses.
Formed in 1930, the Society has gone through various stages of growth building up from one branch to the next, all in an effort to offer the best medical aid services to the growing membership. To date, we boost of over 950 000 members spread across Zimbabwe with a physical presence in 17 cities and towns. We have stood the test of time, rolled with the punches and today we stand tall with a renewed commitment to serving our members to the best of our experience and expertise.
Our current strategic focus entails:
- Growing our market strength via digital innovation while aggressively pursuing emerging opportunities in under-served segments like the private sector and informal sector.
- Re-aligning our products and services to meet emerging consumer trends and expectations in a rapidly digitized business environment such as developing products and initiatives targeted at women and the young.
- Enhancing and simplifying service delivery by automating our services via the PSMAS 24/7 Mobile App, Biometric Registrations, a Contact Centre and Online interactive portals.
- Under our healthy living strategic focus, we have designed and implemented a comprehensive health initiative through our wellness program to improve the health and productivity of our members such as proper diet, exercise, stress management and illness prevention.
As we gravitate towards a million lives covered, we reaffirm our commitment to helping people access health in the best way possible. We are keen on forging strategic partnerships with service providers to improve operational efficiency for our members.
