Background

The National Oil Infrastructure Company of Zimbabwe (NOIC) is a Private Limited company formed through the Companies and Other Business Entities Act [Chapter 24:31], whose business operations commenced in March 2011, is wholly owned by MUTAPA INVESTMENT FUND (Pvt) Ltd.

Vision

To be the preferred integrated fuel infrastructure company in the region.

Mission Statement

To ensure security of supply in the oil and gas industry through an efficient and sustainable transportation, storage, re-delivery service.

Functions

  1. To develop and maintain adequate infrastructure for pumping, storage and loading.
  2. To contribute to the availability of adequate fuel supplies to meet the nation’s requirements.
  3. To ensure fuel quality is maintained along the supply chain.
  4. To provide adequate infrastructure for storage, handling and blending petroleum products with biofuels.
  5. To maximize shareholder value.

Our Growth

Since inception in 2011, NOIC has grown from a single entity over the years and now fully owns subsidiaries, has significantly grown its capacity in the business of fuel transportation and distribution of fuel and now has more fuel depots than before. More areas of growth include:

Transforming into an unmatched fuel transportation and distribution company of force
Owned no subsidiary at inception but now partly owns, FECZ (Pvt) Ltd and is an associate of INPETRO SARL; and wholly owns two (2) subsidiaries, PETROZIM LINE (Pvt) Ltd and GENESIS ENERGY (Pvt) Ltd.
NOIC constructed Ethanol storage facilities in 2022 enabling blending of more ethanol than before.
Increased fuel depots from 4 to 5 in number resulting in increased storage and handling capacity of petroleum products.
