Khayah Cement  Limited is a leading construction solutions provider with a history spanning over 67 years of operation in Zimbabwe. The company was established as Salisbury Portland Cement Company in 1956, then owned by the United Kingdom based Associated Portland and Manufacturers Association. Through series of mergers and acquisitions over the decades, it became Circle Cement in 1982 and Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Limited in 2007 and now Khayah Cement in 2023.

Over these years, as shareholding and management evolved, the company has remained consistent in delivering quality, strong and durable products. It has remained a significant part of the economic and infrastructure development of this country and will continue to do so for generations to come.

Khayah employs high standards of operations in all aspects of its operations, including rigorous safety standards, unwavering commitment to environmental protection, innovative approach to its core business and a sense of social responsibility towards all stakeholders, especially the communities close to its operations.

The company offers a wide range of cement and allied products, meticulously manufactured to meet the various construction needs of the customer. It has a current capacity to produce 700,000 tonnes of cement per annum, 100,000tonnes of dry mortars and 227,000tonnes of aggregates.

Lafarge has a workforce of 500 employees and creates over 24 thousand jobs in its value chain.
