Overview

The AFC Holdings was established in April 2021 following Government’s resolution to transform Agribank into a one stop shop for agriculture financing. The key mandate of the AFC Holdings is to champion sustainable agriculture financing and development in Zimbabwe.

The group is comprised of the following subsidiaries: –

1. AFC Commercial Bank.
2. AFC Land and Development Bank.
3. AFC Leasing Company; and
4. AFC Insurance Company

AFC Holdings is wholly owned by the Government of Zimbabwe. The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries Water, and Rural Development, maintain 50% shareholding apiece in the institution.
